Sarah is a native of Western North Carolina, but began her yoga practice 5 years ago in Boston, MA.A back injury, a stressful job and anxiety brought her to Pilates and yoga and it changed the trajectory of her life. Sarah received her Pilates Mat certification from Happy Body in Asheville, NC in 2015 and her 250 Hour Yoga Teacher certification from ACY in 2018.
Now, a lover of all types of movement and a strong believer in the power of movement for the mind, body and spirit. Fascinated by anatomy and the incredible things our bodies can do, Sarah wants to bring more body awareness and self-compassion to her students. Sarah hopes to bring people together with her classes and to help us all understand how important is it to love ourselves, be ourselves and take time for our minds and bodies.
Gentle Flow (Beginners Welcome)
Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:15 pm and Saturdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am
This class is the perfect way to start your weekend with intention. This flow class stays close to the mat, but allows us to explore what it feels like to move our body in the morning. We will move through poses slowly, connecting with our breath and allowing our mind, body and spirit to soak in all the benefits this practice has to offer. This gentle class is designed to be accessible to all levels. It is perfect for students looking for a change of pace or anyone looking for a more gentle nurturing experience.
