I discovered yoga in the midst of a very turbulent and uncertain time in my life. I was given two choices, one was to continue down a path that was unhealthy and unsatisfying or try a totally new way of living. Fortunately, I chose the latter, which ultimately led me to Asheville where I discovered yoga and Asheville Community Yoga. I was initially drawn to yoga in order to tap into what my body was saying, something I always feared. Yoga allowed me to experience these feelings with no judgment, all I had to do was show up and let it happen. After a year of volunteering and being a regular student at Asheville Community Yoga, I decided to take the Teacher Training program. Once I completed the training it seemed only fitting to pass along the wisdom and knowledge that yoga has graced me with.

Vinyasa Flow (L 1 & 2)
Mondays from 8:00 – 9:00 am
Flow into the morning sun with movement and breath. We’ll focus on bringing warmth and energy to our bodies while creating space for self study and deeper practice.
Meditation
Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:00 pm
Come take a break from your day and join me for 30 minutes of meditation using breathing techniques, mindfulness and awareness to bring us back to a more neutral sense of being.
