Radhika Banu Bjonnes (500-RYT) is an experienced and dedicated yoga and meditation teacher, aroma-therapist, laughter yogini and a practitioner of various creative movement arts. She has been practicing yoga and meditation daily since 2001. In addition, Radhika holds a 60 hour certification and a 400 hour Diploma in Rajadhiraja Yoga from AMYA, a state certified yoga academy in Singapore, a 100 hour certification in Yin Yoga and a 100 hour certification in yoga for pregnancy, birth and baby. She has also completed modules in pre- and post-natal yoga and yoga for active birth.
Yin Yoga, (All Levels)

Yin Yoga is a quiet practice in which each posture is held for a longer time, while encouraging the entire body to relax. In this 75 min class, each posture will be maintained for at least 3 min while normal breathing is maintained.
Yin postures typically target the lower back, sacrum and hips, while also working on knees and ankles. This form of practice focuses on the joints and connective tissues by encouraging more opening and spaciousness in each joint. The result is that more freedom of movement, lightness and relaxation will be felt after each practice.
This class is suitable for beginners and all levels of practitioners, except for those who are pregnant (when it is advisable to attend pre-natal classes with specialized care), injured, or recovering from recent surgeries.
