Rachel fell in love with the practice of yoga in early 2013 as a “last resort” strategy to manage her mental health and an unsustainable way of living. After her first class, yoga felt like a breakthrough and a sanctuary, allowing her to connect the mind and heart.
She began to develop a deeper connection to herself and a greater awareness of her thought patterns, words, and actions. This practice became more than physical as it was a journey of the soul, where she tapped into her intuition and potential. Through yoga, she discovered the beautiful wisdom ingrained in the body and the power of movement.
After moving to the mountains in 2016, Rachel found Asheville Community Yoga, where she completed her YTT. She brings her playful attitude to the mat creating a space of freedom and lightheartedness, where all are welcome. It is a gift and honor to teach and connect through this practice.
Rachel believes in living life with intention and purpose, extending yoga beyond our mats and into the World. Incorporating values from the physical practice into our daily lives to meet ourselves and others with compassion.
