A Latin-American, from Panama, Michele transplanted to Asheville in September 2013 from New York City. Although her love of yoga began nearly 10 years ago at her local Bikram studio in Manhattan, her passion and deeper clarity of purpose didn’t ignite until she enrolled in YTT at Asheville Community Yoga in July 2017.
Her love of the healing arts, allows her to show up on and off the mat with compassion, empathy and a passion to serve others. She strongly believes Yoga can be the bridge to connect others to a deeper awareness of self and the world from a place of love. When she is not on her mat or in meditation, she provides consulting services for businesses and life guidance for individuals through her company Coeur Conscious Coaching.
As a conscious change agent, her goal is continual transformation toward greater spiritual awakening within herself and society and to build bridges of deeper conversations, authentic connections and strong communities for the advancement of human consciousness.
She is a certified practitioner of ‘Protective Behaviors Programme’ (UK) and obtained her training as a Life Coach with MentorCoach LLC, a member of the International Coaching Federation. She attended SUNY at Albany as a communications major and is also a veteran of the United States Army.
In her spare time she enjoys long drives through the Blue Ridge Mountains, catching the latest blockbuster movie, Karaoke in the car, spending time with family and friends and taking long road trips.
