Having grown-up with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), I had trouble finding ways to cope with it. It wasn’t until I found yoga that I started to feel comfortable with having autism and being myself. After moving to Asheville in 2015, I found Asheville Community Yoga, which changed my life forever. The studio made me appreciate the practice of yoga even more and made me
feel apart of a community, something I had been striving for a long time. After years of practicing and volunteering at the studio, I felt like I was being called to share my experience
with others, especially those who are also on the spectrum.
In 2019, I decided to complete the 250 hour teacher training that Asheville Community Yoga offered and can say that it is one of
the best decisions I have ever made. I am excited about sharing my experience and knowledge of yoga with everyone.
