Liz has been an exercise instructor for over 20 years. 15 years ago she discovered Tai Chi and 10 years ago she began teaching Tai Chi. She studies with Sifu Mark Small from the Mountain Dragon Martial Arts School here in Asheville. She has also studied with Master Wu, Wen-Ching from Way of the Dragon School in Rhode Island, Sifu Bob Feeser from Asheville and Sifu Caroline Demoise from Chapel Hill. She is very happy to be able to bring Tai Chi to Asheville Community Yoga. “I feel Tai Chi and Yoga work together so well. Both of these mind/body movement forms bring balance into my life and both put focus on giving back what I receive.” Some of the Chinese disciplines Liz is certified to teach are Tai Chi for Arthritis, Yang Family Style Tai Chi, Yang Style 24 Form, 20 Posture Therapeutic Chi Gung and the Flying Rainbow Tai Chi Fan Form.
