I embody a yoga practice that is at the intersection of holistic wellness and social justice activism. My yoga practice, is diverse and ever-evolving. In the past five years, yoga played a significant role in my personal development and transformation. I am living proof that disciplined empathy for yourself, will change how you show up in the world.
As a native of Western North Carolina, I am passionate about supporting all communities, this includes those communities who often have limited access to personal care and holistic resources. It is my intention to build bridges, weaving among diverse groups, sprinkling yoga as I go. My intention is to empower people to cultivate a more holistic relationship to themselves and the Earth. Meditation and yoga are the practices I utilize to embody actions for radical personal and collective transformation.
Vinyasa Flow (Level 1 & 2)
Fridays from 12:15 to 1:15 pm
This slow paced vinyasa flow is a full and robust look at what it means to embody yoga. As we move through our flow we slow down and hold poses to create a moving meditation. In this class we work to find softness and strength to help us better adjust to the ever changing world outside of the classroom. Class begins with centering and breathing, flowing into a fluid warm-up sequence. After warm-up we kick it up a notch with a creative sequence meant to encourage you to feel strong and empowered in your body. By focusing on our core, we will find deeper balance in our mind and body. In this class ultimately I hope to help you feel safer and more grounded. My class is a truly radical space were all humans are welcomed, pronouns are respected, and no one is neglected. Modifications and use of props are encouraged.
