Hi, my name is Dana and I love sharing my yoga practice with Asheville both on and off of the mat. I earned my RYT certification at the Lakshmi Rising School of Yoga and Wellness in Cabuya, Costa Rica. My training was infused with vinyasa, dance, mantra, meditation, Ayurveda and ritual. Since completing my training, I have continued to be a student of yoga and life studying and teaching many types of yoga.
My mission in teaching is to make yoga accessible to everyone by empowering students to decide for themselves what makes sense for them in their bodies. I enjoy moving people through self study, creative sequencing and music. I am eager and honored to be a part of this amazing yoga community!

Gentle Yoga (Beginners Welcome)
Saturdays from 2:00 to 3:00 pm
Learn to be gentle with your body. In this class, we slow our pace a little to take time to feel our bodies move and breathe. Gentle yoga is a bridge between moving in flow and staying stationary. We stay in poses long enough to enjoy that we are not pushing ourselves as we strengthen and stretch.
