Beth graduated from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition in 2011 with a Certification in Holistic Wellness Coaching, and continues her studies with Functional Nutrition Alliance. In addition, she is a graduate from the University of Rhode Island, she is a certified Conscious Aging facilitator through IONS, a facilitator for an Asheville chapter of Dining For Women organization and a volunteer companion for Care Partners, Hospice.
Her journey of healthy living began over 14 years ago, after her daughter was born with an array of life threatening food allergies. During the first few years of her daughter’s life, it became clear that she needed to empower herself to understand underlying causes of what was going on for her daughter’s internal micro-biome. The conventional medicine, at that time, was unable to offer her the answers she needed to keep her daughter healthy and vital. She did not want to put a band-aid on the situation, and instead devoted herself with passion to uncovering the key to her daughter’s health issues.
Beth immersed herself into the studies of homeopathy, essential oils, herbs, meditation, Ayurveda, The Macrobiotic Diet, raw food diet, and the Body Ecology. Beth combines these holistic modalities, plus others, to create individualized wellness plans for each client. Using her intuitive gifts, and compassionate listening skills, Beth helps each client to identify, not only their presenting issues, but how each issue connects to various aspects of their life. Her approach to the mind body spirit connection is meticulous and profound.
Beth’s mission is to co-create with her clients so they can be enabled to easily access a happier and healthier life. Her style of coaching is flexible, fun, and rewarding.
Beth’s Wellness Group:
“Yoga of Nourishment”
Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30am
Beth will be sharing her knowledge and experience with nutrition, essential oils, herbal remedies, self care techniques and various forms of wellness strategies. We will also be learning from the synergy created through the group’s wisdom.
The intention here is for people to come and learn about health and wellness from a nutritional stand-point and to explore the powerful effects of nutrition combined with deep relaxation, meditation and mindfulness practices on our overall health and well being. This would be an opportunity for people to share their appropriate insights regarding nutrition, digestion, and overall wellness as it pertains to nourishment both on and off the plate. We will look at what is positively fueling your life and how to sustain that so you can nurture and care for your mind, body and spirit. We will access and be guided by our intuition to the best of our abilities. These practices will support us in enjoying our lives more fully.
