My love of yoga began in 2004 when I took my first Ashtanga yoga class. For me it was challenging both physically and mentally in a way that I had not experienced before. After some time practicing, I began to notice a shift in my anxiety levels and an overall feeling of balance. I was hooked!In 2013, a friend suggested Asheville Community Yoga to me and I’ve been in love ever since. I signed up for the Yoga Immersion Program at ACY in the spring of 2016 and then received my 250-hour Yoga Teacher Certification with ACY in December of 2017.
My hope is to encourage my students along their yoga journey with all the love and support that I have received throughout mine. As I continue to learn and grow in my practice, I hope to share with and inspire all who attend my classes.
Gentle Yoga (All Levels, Beginners Welcome)
Sundays from 4:15 to 5:15 pm
In this class we will explore gentle movement and sweet stillness through thoughtful asanas and meditation. Together we will open our hearts and minds as we stretch, breath, and soften into our bodies. This class is perfect for beginners and expert yogis alike. Come savor the end of the weekend and refresh for the week ahead.
