I grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina with a massage therapist mom and an acupuncturist dad. I have, therefore, been interested in holistic healing and health ever since I can remember. As a child I have memories of trading foot massages with my mom while she was in massage school, and being treated by my father for walking pneumonia with acupuncture. I was curious and intrigued by their careers.
While in my early twenties I attended community college in Greenfield, Massachusetts and worked odd jobs, but one would usually find me making medicinal herbal infusions, practicing yoga, or reading about the chakra systems. So it was no surprise when I, myself, decided to pursue becoming a licensed massage and bodywork therapist. In 2013, I began this journey by completing a 600 hour program in downtown Asheville at The Center for Massage & Natural Health. I have been practicing massage therapy full time ever since finishing massage school. I incorporate a variety of massage techniques into my practice which may include Swedish techniques, deep fascial work, and reflexology.
Through my practice, I strive to treat people recognizing and honoring the gift of their individuality. Through deep listening, skilled technique, and individual connection I hope to help people find relief from pain and stress at every level, and encourage health and wholeness from the standpoint of their unique personhood.
