Hey there! My name is Nicole King. I am 28 years old. I was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania. I moved to Asheville a little over a year ago and this is where my love for photography really took off. Throughout my childhood I would, as I like to call it, “see in pictures”. It was not until my mid 20’s that I decided to take it a step further and start capturing the beauty that the world has to offer. I currently work in the mental health field. Photography for me is self care, exploration, and a creative outlet. I always encourage others to find their creative outlet and do whatever they can to fit it into their lives, no matter how busy they are.
My photography is mainly based around nature and all the unique beauty that exists within it. This ranges from landscape photography to exploring the fine details within a single flower. Recently I have also begun to explore more abstract work. This can be seen in the photos of the animal eyes which include the eyes of dogs, cats, and horses. I love animals and I believe they can tell us so much with a single glance. Although not displayed here, I also do headshots and animal portraits. Please enjoy what it is that I have to offer!
Nicole’s work is displayed outside Studio B. She is donating 40% of the proceeds of sales to Asheville Community Yoga
