The holiday season is upon us!
What do the holidays mean to you? For some of us, it means a time to relax and spend quality time with friends and family, cook delicious food, celebrate traditions, and be merry. For others, the holidays may look and feel different. We understand not everyone is able to enjoy the holidays with loved ones like many of us are able to do.
For our December Service Project, we’d like to extend gratitude, love, and holiday cheer to participants at Mountain Care by delivering handmade cards created by our loving community members and spending an afternoon at their Adult Day Care facility!
If you’d like to make a card, simply stop by the creation table outside of studio B. We will be making holiday cards until Tuesday, December 17th. If you’d like to sign up to join us on Wednesday, December 18th from 1 – 5pm to offer companionship to Mountain Care participants, with the option to work in their garden and/or assist with organizational tasks, sign up at the front desk!
*Please note space is limited to 15 volunteers*
