We are pleased to share that three students and one of our beloved teachers have donated BEAUTIFUL works of art for our Heart of Community Fundraising Mission.
Brian Eckart is a local artist who lost his home during a mudslide on Good Friday of this year. He was able to recover all but one piece of his priceless artwork. Brian was so touched by our mission at Asheville Community Yoga that he has donated a beautiful engraved wood painting (SOLD), as well as smaller inspirational carved wooden pieces. His work is featured in several local galleries.
Lisa Milner has donated a beautifully framed print from the mid-century “Funk Art” movement. If you are a dog lover, you must take a look at this fun and fabulous, colorful print for your home.
Heidi Shields donated several of her magnificent hand-made quilts! Each one tells a story on its own and she shares a bit about what she was experiencing as she created these lovely works of art.
Mary Jamieson, one of our beloved teachers, is also a very talented artist! Her bears doing yoga paintings were super popular when she was our featured artist, but were not for sale. Mary has lovingly donated 4 of those paintings to us for our Heart of Community Fundraising Mission! They will go quickly, so purchase soon!
100% of the proceeds go to our Heart of Community Fundraising Mission! Deep gratitude to Brian, Lisa, Heidi and Mary for their very generous donations of artwork. Thank you!
