Join us in this series to learn about the world’s oldest holistic health system for wellness and self-care, encompassing body, mind and spirit.
- Explore the ancient tradition of “the knowledge of life” and its practical applications in the modern world.
- Discover the opposite energies within nature and ourselves that can you guide you in observing and healing disruptions or imbalances and finding harmony in daily living.
- Experience yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation and lifestyle practices that bring integrity to the healing process.
During this four week series, we will explore:
Week 1 – ROOT: The origins of Ayurveda and how Ayurveda can help us to intuitively understand ourselves, each other and the natural world.
Week 2 – RHYTHM: The rhythms of nature and the body, mind and spirit, and how we can live within the flow to increase vitality and decrease stress.
Week 3 – RASA: Ayurveda’s six tastes, the power of digestion, and how Ayurvedic food principles can improve gut health.
Week 4 – RISE: Lifestyle guidelines, including dinacharya (Ayurvedic daily routine), and how these practices can uniquely support the body, calm the mind, and nourish the spirit.
Each week will include discussion and experiential learning, including movement, breathwork and meditation practices. You will also receive practical tools to take home.
Price: $50 full series, $15 drop-in
