If you are ready to jump in with both feet and dive deeply into the teachings of yoga, this intensive may be for you. The intensive format is a great way for those with prior teaching experience to get certified quickly.
September 6th-26th, 2013!!!
It is also appropriate for those less experienced to get started teaching while initiating transformation in their own lives. Please be able to devote your full attention to this training for the entire three weeks in order to receive the benefits.
Our usual schedule is 8am-5pm every day with 2 days off. In addition, one of the weekends will be a retreat at the prama center in Marshall. There will be a reasonable amount of homework assigned to be done at night or on your days off. You will also be required to attend a kirtan outside of these hours. If you desire to receive your certification at the end of the three weeks, you will need to do your observing, assisting, and teaching hours outside of regular class ours or on your days off. Most students elect to fulfill these requirements after the training is over; you will have approximately 2 months after the training is over to complete these requirements.
Upon completing Asheville Community Yoga’s 21 day Teacher Training Program including observations, assisting, and teaching, you will be eligible to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200hr level. If you are already registered with Yoga Alliance, you will be able to apply hours toward continuing education credits.
Our next 21 day training is scheduled for September 9-26, 2013! Fill out the application below!

Our 21 day intensive yoga teacher training includes a 2 day retreat at the beautiful Prama Institute.

Retreat
Weekend Yoga Teacher Training The retreat takes place at the Prama Institute, a non-profit, holistic retreat center located on forested hilltops and grasslands surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains. It sits in Marshall, NC, near the French Broad River, about 25 minutes outside Asheville, NC. The 6000 sq. foot dome structures are Prama’s most distinctive feature, including a 1300 sq. foot meeting space. The domes are designed according to the original Buckminster Fuller architectural specifications, featuring bamboo floors with in-floor, passive solar heating. Gourmet vegetarian chefs produce three delicious meals each day of your stay, using as much locally produced and organic ingredients as possible. The retreat center is surrounded by over 100 acres of forested hills and valleys. More information on the Prama Institute.
