Location
Retreat
Our teacher training is unique in that it includes a 2 day retreat included in the already reasonable price. We offer this special experience as an opportunity for you to more strongly bond with your fellow students and dive more intensively into the practice of yoga.
The retreat takes place at the Prama Institute, a non-profit, holistic retreat center located on forested hilltops and grasslands surrounded by the Appalachian Mountains. It sits in Marshall, NC, near the French Broad River, about 25 minutes outside Asheville, NC.
The 6000 sq. foot dome structures are Prama’s most distinctive feature, including a 1300 sq. foot meeting space. The domes are designed according to the original Buckminster Fuller architectural specifications, featuring bamboo floors with in-floor, passive solar heating. Gourmet vegetarian chefs produce three delicious meals each day of your stay, using as much locally produced and organic ingredients as possible. The retreat center is surrounded by over 100 acres of forested hills and valleys. More information on the Prama Institute.
