We are born into bodies that are fluid and free; bodies that instinctively express our emotions through movement.  As we experience our lives we encounter events that contribute, in subtle and not so subtle ways, to closures, tightening, and contractions.  Our bodies hold these experiences with us, locked up as stuck and stagnant energy. This pattern of holding and hardening becomes habitual.  In many ways we feel and get stuck.  We forget our inherent wisdom, power, freedom, and beauty and instead live from a place of limitations, fears and self-doubt.
This facilitated journey through movement, inspired by 5Rhythms, opens up pathways to free this trapped energy. It gives you space and freedom in your body, mind and spirit. It is a practice of creatively expressing your joy, frustration, vulnerability, sensuality, and playfulness in a safe and supportive environment.  As you unfold into your movements you honor your unique flow in life.  You open to the wisdom of your body; listening to your body, trusting your body, and moving beyond limitations and self-consciousness in all areas of your life.
This movement is about how you feel not about how you look.  It is your dance.  If you don’t dance your dance, who will? ……. Oh, and when you do embrace your dance …possibilities abound and life becomes so incredibly juicy!
