Melia begin her practice of yoga in 2008, at home with a set of DVDs. After a few weeks she took the leap and found a local yoga studio. After her first in studio class she was changed. She felt a sense of coming home, and knew a yoga practice would always be part of her life from then on. After keeping a regular practice through all life’s changes she decided to become of teacher of what she loved so dearly, and began teaching in December of 2014. She feels a regular yoga practice and meditation has helped shape her into the person she is today. She loves being able to give the gift of yoga to others and see the changes in people as they find their way through their own personal journeys. When she’s not teaching yoga she can be found enjoying life through baking, soap making, hiking, and spending precious time with her little ones. She looks forward to serving this special community of yogis!

Tuesdays from 8:00 to 9:00 pm
In this softer, mindfully paced class we will begin with centering, taking time to allow the mind to connect with the breath. From there we will move into gentle postures with creative placement of props making the class assessable and relaxing; followed by a deeply restful savasana. This class offers a nurturing, compassionate environment suitable for beginner’s to long time yogi’s. Wake up from savasana feeling rejuvenated and ready to relax into the rest of your evening.
