As I am constantly learning and digesting all that is Yoga, I find the holistic benefits to be both on a personal and universal level. I first discovered Yoga at a young age, but it wasn’t until my 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Community Yoga that I found the truly transformational effects it can have on the mind, body and spirit.
As a Children’s Art teacher of many years, I am reminded of the creative inner child in all of us. I hope to use this practice to help myself and others stay connected to this whether it is on or off of the mat.

Kids Yoga (Ages 4 to 6*)
Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:45 pm
In this class we will explore asana, breath work, mindfulness and restorative play through a creative, fun and imaginative yoga sequence. We will move through a series of postures and breathing exercises to help children increase mind and body awareness, self regulation, strength, flexibility, balance, focus, creativity and more.
*Parents are asked to please stay in the lobby area or sit outside adjacent to the studio while class is in session
