Inspired by the wild-calling of the heart, I set out on my healing journey and was guided into learning how to hold space for others to do the same. By following the bliss of adventure and deep self study, I have traveled far and wide, allowing my eyes to be a witness of the beauty around and within us all. Rooted devotion in Ashtanga and Bhakti Yoga has helped me discover the inner landscape and I am grateful to be of service to others on their path. In 2012 I traded in college for a yoga mat at Ananda Kula in Jacksonville FLA, where I began my practice of Ashtanga with my first teacher. Yoga helped me transition from feeling confused about life and my purpose to feeling a sense of passion arise from within. I moved to Asheville and attended the Massage & Yoga school in 2014, then continued my education by studying Thai Yoga Bodywork. I’m beyond grateful to have completed the 250hr Teacher Training program through ACY! The experience expanded my heart and taught me foundation through self-empowerment. I feel that yoga has the power to change the world through compassion, grace and dedication. It is an honor to dance this path with you!
Warm Vinyasa Flow (L1&2)
Mondays from 2:00 to 3:00 pm
We will begin by centering and aligning with our breath, followed by an invitation to set our intentions for class and the week ahead. Embodying balance through the union of movement and breath we will begin our journey with sun salutations to warm up and integrate standing and balancing asanas as we build heat. Vinyasa’s will weave together the tapestry of this class, creating a serpentine flow of connection between asanas. This is an opportunity to explore the sacred marriage of our internal and external worlds by linking each movement with our breathing. This practice is a beautiful rhythmic dance of both challenge and inspiration! We will come into a seated cool down of postures and pranayama, then make our way into sweet surrender of blissful savasana.
