A graduate of Subtle Yoga Teacher Training in Asheville and The Thinking Body – The Feeling Mind in Los Angeles, Ann also studied at Continuum (Moving Medicine with Emilie Conrad) and Forrest Yoga in Santa Monica, and uses Viniyoga and Energy Medicine techniques. She recently took a break from years of yoga to do extensive research on the sacroiliac joint and low back problems. In the process, she developed Bluebird Yoga, a yoga practice that healed her chronic pain – from her neck to her low back. Ann is also an award-winning TV documentary producer-director whose work has been seen by millions around the world. She often includes multi-media of anatomy in her classes.
