Intro to Yin with Kelly

In this workshop we will look at the fundamentals of Yin Yoga.

Yin is slowly gaining more popularity as it allows us to slow down and hold poses by putting gentle tension in deep connective tissue areas of the body to promote healthy joints and bones by holding poses for 3-5 minutes while encouraging an increased flow of Chi or Prana to particular meridians and chakras.

Yin Yoga also guides us to balance the Yin/Yang aspects of ourselves and helps develop a mindful meditation practice.

PLEASE NOTE: We encourage pre-registration for all workshops & series classes. Registering in advance guarantees your spot in the class and helps the studio have adequate staffing. If fewer than 5 participants register the event may be canceled.
